labour rates :

Rates are calculated based on duration (hours) on set. Any calculation beyond a “standard day” includes the Over Time rates in the calculation stated below.

Rates on certain type of jobs (e.g. multi-days project, travel jobs  or special case projects, etc) are open for negotiation. Feel free to reach out for further discussion.

DP is based in Bali (Indonesia) and Perth (Australia). Outside of those cities, round-trip flights to the shoot city or pre-production city are at Production Company’s expense.


nternational Productions :

Labour rates :
AUD $3500**/ 10 hours or less (standard day)
AUD $4550**/ 12 hours (hr 10 to hr 12 is @T1.5)
>12 hours is charged @T2, in addition to AUD $4550

AUD $400  / Travel day y (i.e. fly-in and fly-out of DP’s home-base)
AUD $800  / Pre-light Day (includes gear check / camera test if on same day)

Location scouting or Tech Recce : (Time starts from pick-up time to finish time at last location)
AUD $400 / Half day (<5 hours)
AUD $600/ Full day ( 5 hours to 10 hours)
AUD $1000/ Big day ( > 10 hours)

Stand alone tech days : eg. Technical workshops, robot programming, camera test, gear check, etc
AUD $400 / Half day (<5 hours)
AUD $600/ Full day ( 5 hours to 10 hours)
AUD $1000/ Big day ( > 10 hours)

TERMS AND ConditIons:


PROJECT WITH INTERNATIONAL BASED DIRECTORS

  • Flights:

    • Non-stop or direct whenever possible

    • Business class

  • Transportation:

    • A driver must be organised for all meetings, scouting, tech, pre-light and shoot days,

    • Two-way airport transfer

  • Accomodation:

    • 4-star hotels or greater (in the same Hotel / location as Director)

    • Individual room for DP with breakfast included

  • Per diem:

    • $50/day (for each day (day away from home-base) between travel days outside of DP’s home-base)

  • Preparation time:

    • It is advised the DP should arrive 7 days prior to the actual shoot day to allow sufficient preparation time

Important Notes for Accomodation Booking:

- A non-smoking room

- A quiet room which is away from mosques / elevators / stairwells

-Preferably has a gym facility

Dietary Requirements or Meal Choices:

- Prior to shoot day & Onset, Western food is mandatory (to prevent any illnesses)


Payment:

In general, the final payment shall be received within 1 week of the shoot’s completion. At the DP’s discretion, some jobs may need to provide a deposit or partial/ full payment prior to the job or at completion of jobs last day (prior to DP leaving the country).
