I like the spot light feel of this image. Its a little something out of the normal and i believe you had some ideas we could play with here for this moment. Hard lighting can work for an image like this if its more front lit. or side light like this

Framing ECU is nice for a moment. Lots of Black and shallow focus in this frame helps with the ‘internal’ feel.
Framing CU really promotes a tough image. I like that we see the BG but its soft. Natural looking light but also shaped. Light is still a bit hard for my liking here.
